We then manufacture our products in our workshop. This also allows us to have a better traceability on our production line.
What materials should you choose for your outdoor table made in France?
There are several materials recommended for exterior use, such as Dekton, wood, Corian, concrete, (... etc), for surfaces. But also welded aluminium, aluminium profile, steel, Plexiglas, (... etc), for structures.
It's a non-combustible material. It is resistant to bending and can therefore benefit from an overhang. It is non-porous and its colour remains completely stable throughout its life. This is not the case with concrete, which requires a protective varnish. Just like wood, which requires regular maintenance to be durable over time.
Few, if any, materials meet all these criteria of resistance and durability.
It also allows the assembly and disassembly of a structure to: facilitate transport and/or change a damaged part. And this reinforces the notion of sustainable development, in the context of the reuse of parts, unlike welded aluminium tubes.
In addition, the anodizing treatment ensures it is more resistant to corrosion, unlike iron where rust will settle, and increases its durability. This also allows the paint to adhere better to the profile so that it does not flake off, as it would on steel.
The structure of the profile improves its resistance to bending. As a result, it is twice as large as an aluminium tube of the same section, which will therefore be much less rigid. For this reason, it is preferable to favour structures made of aluminium profiles rather than welded tubes.
Aurehum manufactures its products from these two materials, the Dekton and the aluminium profile.
How will you use your Made in France outdoor table?
Even if outdoor spaces are considered as living rooms and are decorated as such, it is important to know the use you wish to give to your outdoor table made in France.
